The new edition of Everything for you by Belgian artist Jan De Cock is presented in the challenging setting of Deweer Gallery. The first edition Everything for you , Mexico-City opened in March 2013. In 2014 Everything for you , Milan and Everything for you , Beijing will follow. The exhibition Everything for you , Otegem, curated by Luk Lambrecht, contains a Total-Installation of new sculptures that raise fundamental questions about the value of contemporary art, taking into account various aesthetic, economic and social parameters.

All sculptures - under the general heading Nature Morte - are composed of different architectural objects, referring to modernist sculpture and painting and the rising tensions between economics and art.

For his very first solo show at Deweer Gallery Jan De Cock occupies all the gallery’s exhibition rooms. The show indeed takes place in the Lobby and in the large exhibition halls Rooms I and II. In Room I, Jan De Cock presents his sculptural Nature Morte’s - with a few exceptions - in a perfectly aligned grid, emphasizing its abundance and its uniqueness. Four impressive works, called Beau-Lieu, all manifest themselves against the walls of Room II, unfinished, hybrid, somewhere between architecture, sculpture and installation.
