Enrique Marty's third solo show at the gallery, "Sainte Guillotine", took two exhibition halls. A new large installation, "60 Fanatics", was shown downstairs. The installation illustrates the artist's recent development of an approach in which figurative sculptures are charged with social meaning and treated as groups. More than the individual characters that Marty put "on stage" until recently, which were made to "suggest" by means of purely associative powers, these fanatics seem to serve the representation of an idea or a thematical content. In a second part of the show upstairs, Marty presented new watercolours, a new animation movie based on watercolours entitled "The Birth of Tragedy II" and new sculptures.
