This exhibition is a double-show in which both artists, who have been considering this idea since long, confront each other in a combined presentation. Thomas Lange's input will be based on recent works, such as the diary-drawings, and on the series "Caravaggio. La Passione e la morte". In this striking series of oilpaintings and drawings, Lange explores and experiences the work of Caravaggio in an intense and empathizing way. The series was shown in the Palazzo di Venezia in Rome, the Palazzo Vescovile in Acquapendente (IT) and the Museum am Dom in Würzburg (DE). Johan Tahon presented some new bronzes and continue to work on a couple of themes and practices that he developped for his exhibition "In Fluidum" at Museum Beelden aan Zee in The Hague (NL). This involved a mixture of sculpture and installation, resulting in the design of sculptural environments. Objects, sculptures, and paintings combined into one installation, are indeed a typical development in Johan Tahon's recent work.
